The island comes first.

A European studio designing resorts for remote islands and coastlines. Architecture and engineering under one roof, documented to build far from home — always with licensed local consultants.

§02 — Selected work in resort design
Note — self-initiated studiesIn-house design studies that demonstrate our approach to resort architecture, structural engineering and BIM. They are visualizations of our thinking, not built projects.

Project 01 · Maldives · Lhaviyani Atoll

Hudhufushi Lagoon Forum

A 65-hectare V-shaped island — two vegetated arms, a protected inner lagoon, 24 keys and one thin roof at the hinge: The Lagoon Forum. Film and full masterplan inside.

Project 02 · Maldives · Shaviyani Atoll

Dholhiyadhoo Ruin Garden

An island carrying the concrete of an unfinished resort — kept, tested and grown over. 18 keys on reclaimed ground, around The Ruin Garden Forum. Film and full masterplan inside.

Night aerial visualization of Huivani Celestial Pier — the glazed observatory dome at the end of the overwater pier, villas with rooftop photovoltaics and the Milky Way above the island.
Project 03 · Maldives · Noonu Atoll

Huivani Celestial Pier

A dark-sky island — 20 keys, one pier, one observatory, and lighting quiet enough to keep the Milky Way visible from every deck. Film and full masterplan inside.

Top-down aerial visualization of Alidhoo Art & Wellness Island — a round island with a circular wellness ring at its centre, a beach ring of pool villas and an arc of curved-roof Wave Villas over the lagoon.
Project 04 · Maldives · Haa Alifu Atoll

Alidhoo Art & Wellness Island

A round island planned as a single work — 50 keys, a sculpture route, 18 Wave Villas on one arc and a circular wellness ring hidden in the green. Film and full masterplan inside.

Project 05 · Maldives · South Malé Atoll

Villivaru Arrival Shell

The smallest island in the series, and the most disciplined — 22 keys on 5.4 hectares, one jetty, and a ribbed timber vault that tells you where you are before the boat docks. Film and full masterplan inside.

Where we work.

§03 — Destinations
§04 — Architecture & Engineering

We design resorts as buildings first: structure, orientation, material, light. The atmosphere follows from the discipline — not the other way around.

A resort is a structural problem, a logistics problem and a light problem at once. We hold all three in one office, architects and structural engineers at the same table, and carry a project from first concept to documentation a contractor can build.

What we design.

§05 — Typologies
01

Beach & overwater villas

Guest villas and overwater superstructures — lightweight, prefabricated and corrosion-aware for marine environments.

ARCH · STR · BIM
02

Public resort buildings

Reception pavilions, restaurants, spas and wellness — long spans, daylight and clear orientation.

ARCH · STR · MEP
03

Service & back-of-house

Staff housing, kitchens, laundry and plant — the working spine of a resort, coordinated with utilities.

MEP · DOCS
04

Utilities & systems coordination

Coordination with STP, desalination, solar and marine consultants for remote, self-sufficient sites.

MEP · COORD
§06 — How we work worldwide
We support local teams. We do not replace them.

We design worldwide. From our studios in Romania we deliver resort architecture, structural engineering, MEP coordination and BIM to destinations across the Indian Ocean, the Mediterranean, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

On every international project, statutory approval and local compliance remain with the registered professionals in each jurisdiction — architects of record, structural checkers, MEP and utilities engineers, EIA and coastal/marine specialists, and fire and life-safety consultants. Our European design and engineering capacity travels; the authority stays local.

§07 — Selected work

Built work that grounds the resort practice.

Villa-scale craft, public-building rigour, a wellness precedent, steel structures detailed for construction — all of it built, and all of it kept separate from our concept studies.

200+

completed projects over two decades — houses, schools, long-span steel, one very good spa. The precision was learned under unforgiving inspectors. It arrives with the drawings.
